my screen saver won't load the graphics but just says no running taks

project to. i used the same account i had on my last computer, which to add i had no problems with the seti screensaver but now it won't work. on load up of the screensaver it says no running tasks and my boinc manager just says downloading work from the server. i've unattached and reattached the project, uninstalled and reinstalled and checked all the settings. please help. heres a copy of the Since a couple of weeks, Seti has a new outage method, whereby they go off-line for 3 days a week. During that time you cannot download, upload, report or attach to the project. The outages run from Tuesday morning Californian time till Friday morning Californian time. Before the outage starts, all computers attached will try to download as much work as possible. After the outage is over, downloading is limited to 40 tasks per CPU, 320 tasks per GPU. All computers attached will be uploading for a while, taking up all of the bandwidth. This taking up of all of the bandwidth is what's causing you to not be able to attach at this time, you can see that as the HTTP errors in your log. Your screen saver won't show anything, since you aren't fully attached yet, your computer hasn't gotten a hostID number yet, it hasn't downloaded any work yet. Detaching and reattaching isn't going to help. Check the Technical News and Number Crunching forums on the Seti main forums for news about the outage. Or check the bandwidth graph, as long as it's pegged at 94 Mbit, you're not going to get through. Wait until it drops to below 80 Mbit before trying again. ID: 33926 ·
