I want to disable GPU processing while doing offline testing on GPU from bench script file. Is it possible to issue re-read config command to BOINC or BOINC restart is required for this?

Would that be it? From BOINC 6.1 to 6.10 Versions Change Log (boinc 6.10.57 released for testing for Windows, Windows x64 and Macintosh):
boinccmd: Add --set_gpu_mode to command line tool.

thanks!
It absent in my boinc version though (6.10.48).
Will use cc_config reload option instead..

--read_cc_config
Reread the configuration file (cc_config.xml)
