Hello everyone!

I'm looking forward to buy myself a Qnap TS-110
to run Seti@Home on it.

But my question is, is Boinc runing on a qnap server?

Thx for your help

Hello Dagorath

Thanks for you answer, you can see here what a qnap server is:
http://www.qnap.com/pro_detail_feature.asp?p_id=136

There are also the specifications and software specifications writen down.
Can you see if there's linux on it? There is something like linux, but im not a linux pro, but if it runs ill try to do it.

I just talked to the Qnap support.
And it wont work.

His answer:
Dear Marco,

Thanks.
But because QNAP provide Linux-embedded platform, it's not been able to install and run directly on QNAP NAS.
Currently only some developers add their own software application specifically for QNAP NAS.

Thanks anyway for your help!

Regards

Marco
