Ok, strangely, after I set the history value back to 365 days after a while the log somehow reshowed the completed results back to January. No idea either why that value changed, and being the doubting thomas, reinstalled the client and nothing changed.

Different topic:

I've started to use the alert function with 2 rules:

1. To highlight those that have a deadline that is less than 8 days away [cache is 1 day, with WCG deadlines of 10]
2. When the CPU efficiency drops below 80%.

In the Tasks view of BT the highlights show nicely, but in the systray pop-up Gadget view only the deadline threatened appear highlighted. Not the low efficiency.[now my memory goes... there were 3 in the Tasks view, but only one showed red in the gadget view]

And a question:

2 I'm using filters to condense the Ready to Start (RTS) tasks. Do the highlighted tasks get broken out in the Tasks view? For instance there are 5 HFCC RTS tasks, but no repair jobs are in queue to be able to test this. Usually when I see these repair jobs [in replacement of bad or no reply results], I start them manually.

In the todo list is show warning colors in the Gadget window.
2 Warnings are shown on the whole RTS group.
Others are only taken out of the filer if BOINC reports an error.

On opening the project properties screen, have a BOINC wide system section where general BOINC info is provided such as the all parms from the time keeping section:

Possibly also the benchmark values showing them raw or what the present claimed hourly credit would be in laymen terms.

Stops the occasional need to dabble in the client_state files when the client is logging allot or has been up for a few days scrolling the information off the live message page.

even through this last release, if a connect to a remote host is lost, the client tends to hang or turn very sluggisg in updating information from others hosts [local and remote] to the extend that exiting is not doing anything and TaskManager has to be opened to kill BT. I've set the expert option to try reconnecting every 900 seconds.

On feature requests, would it be possible to switch off the gadget view and just have the short bubble list of client A - 2 running, client B - 4 running etc.

Strange, that everything gets sluggish...
Try setting the reconnect to 0 seconds and see if this happens again.
You can reconnect by clicking on "all computers"
See if this improves anything.

But wait for at least one minute for BT will try to close, the hard way in about 1 minute.

Expert tab: Set "Show only over icon for" 0 "Seconds" This should disable gadget window. And shows what you asked.

Be aware this a beta version with a lot of changes.

I've seen the selection for Temperature in Tasks, But It never shows anything, It just stays blank Fred.
