Been running SETI for many years. Windoes 2K Pro, Boinc 5.10.13. On one of my machines I am running Einstein, Rosetta and World CG. Today I noticed for the first time that Rosetta never stops. Whilst the either of the other 2 are running, Rosetta keeps adding to the CPU time at about one third the normal speed, and the others run at a reduced speed. CPU usage is 100%.
Any ideas as to cause?

No, sorry, no such file. And when I go to any of the projects (including Rosetta) and look up my computer summary, it says number of CPUs: 1. I have also tried re-booting.
I think this only started today, so I wonder if it is a faulty Rosetta work unit ?

It could be. Rosetta has been having multiple problems of different colors recently (server problems and WU problems at once, maybe add some network problems for good measure).

As the Boinc Manager supposedly has control over the apps, you would think if it said stop to Rosetta then Rosetta would stop, not decide on its own to work at half speed. Very strange.
I've just tried suspending the work unit. It says suspended. But it keeps going !!

The BOINC Manager has no control over any kind of processing. The BOINC manager just lets you see what the BOINC client does, and control it.

The BOINC client doesn't stop apps either. It tells them to stop. They might fail to do it (bug)...

So it might be Rosetta Mini 1.40 that is faulty. Perhaps I should report it to them.
