Hi. A few days ago, I deliberately suspended BOINC processing, and now find that I cannot restart it. If I select the job, I either have a suspend, or resume button on the left, but the job itself only toggles between "Task suspended by user", and "Suspended - task suspended by user". How do I REALLY resume processing ?
Thanks
Shane

You can suspend in a couple of ways, so check all of them.
The button should show "Suspend" when the task is actually running. The button shows the option you have, not the state it is in.

So then.. With BOINC Manager open, Advanced view.
- Activity menu, make sure you're set to Run based on preferences.
- Projects tab, select the project, look for the "resume" button, if it's there, click it. If you see the "suspend" button, that's what you want it to show.
- Tasks tab, select the task that is suspended, look to the left again, same procedure as above.

If that still doesn't help, please post your BOINC version.

Additionally there is the system tray's Boinc icon with Snooze(_for_one_hour) menu item (on Windows, no idea how are the other OS'es graphical counterparts exactly named). But tinkering with the Activity menu should override it.
