I have a new HP server running this "OpenServer" garbage, it's a multi-xeon-processor box with a boat load of spare CPU cycles.

I'm familiar with Linux, and AIX, and since this SCO OpenServer is supposed to be Unix, is there a particular version of the core client that can be ran in command line mode only?

Thanks for any info.

All versions of BOINC can be run in command line mode only. Just start boinc.exe (Windows) or boinc (Unix/Linux/Mac) only. You can then use boinccmd (boinc command) to control it.

See http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/BoincCmd and http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/UnixClient.
