I have noticed that the climateprediction application seems to cut off the seti application on the boinc installation on my computer, and for the life of me i can't seem to figure out how to prevent it from doing so. should they not be sharing resources? even an hour on and an hour off?

What are the resource shares on your PC?

How much work does each project actually get done per day?

What is the deadline for CPDN's task?

The most likely problem is that the Boinc manager thinks that the climate model is under deadline pressure, and is therefore focussing effort on it.
