problem with turing off "run always"

Even though I have "customize my preference for this computer" checked, when I try to change the "Do work after idle for" parameter from "run always" to another setting it always reverts back to run always when I check the preferences. This is VERY frustrating, anyone know the solution for this?

Do you save the changes?

When on the web site, make sure you press the button at the bottom to "update preferences". When in the Simple preferences or Advanced preferences in BOINC 5.8/5.10, make sure you save with the OK button.
