I prefer Advanced View over Simple View. However, I'd like to stay with it 100% of the time but can't, because I have to occasionally switch to Simple View to access the customized prefs so I can lower CPU usage to leave overnight. That is the only thing in Simple View that seems to be missing on Advanced View

Already being worked on, since like a month or two ago. The more people who ask, the more it's proved that the feature is needed :)

Remember a very big Thanks when it's done, as an incentive for the developers :)

I would have loved just the CPU part to come back. A lot of times, I have to change that if I'm running something else. (ie. From 4 CPUs to 2 or even 1.) But, it's all back like in 5.8.7.
