Hi,

Is there a registry key I can add to disable the tray icon for BOINC Manager? i.e. hide it?

Cheers,

Joe

You can install as a service and uncheck the "run BOINC at startup" box. The service will still run but the manager will not.

yeah thanks for that, I have it setup like that on another PC but I would like to not run it as a service on this PC and simply disable the tray icon.

Cheers,

BOINC lives on HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley in the registry. Maybe that you can play with the options under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\\Boinc Manager

Don't hold me responsible if something goes horribly wrong on your system, though. ;-)
