After installing internet explorer 7.0, I have been getting two window to open when I use a button to go to a projects website. One is completely blank, but connecting - never connects, the other connect okay. It also happens in Gridmgr. Doesa not happen on anyother product that I run. Does not happen on the machine where I run Internet explorer 6.

Any ideas, it must have something to do with how boinc mgr and gridmgr are invoking the internet explorer.

And why can't it be a problem with IE7?

But make sure you set IE7 to be your new default browser under Program Access and Defaults, which can be found in Add/Remove Programs. Make sure IE6/other browser isn't also checked for default browser.

I tried that there is only one internet listed there and is marked as enabled.

What is happening is that there is a blank window created, but never seems to be any url address specified. If I specify one in it, it works just like any other internet window. Any more ideas, I appreciate them all. It could be IE 7.0, but it doesn't happen with any other programs so far except for Gridmgr and Boincmgr.

No problems here with IE7, XP Pro SP2 fully updated/patched, and BOINC installed as a single user, perhaps it's a toolbar or anti virus/firewall interaction?
