Hi
This is an old FAQ, that BOINC will query /dev/input/mice all the time when it started. This will cause /var/log/boincerr.log to grow size hugely and soon explode.

I installed a boinc on a headless Raspberry Pi which is using to get project status only. (headless means no UART, no USB keyboard/mouse, no HDMI, blah)

how about boinc-client --headless?

Thanks
Anthony

I believe it has already been addressed by the Linux package. You'll have to get the version from Debian's stretch-backports if you want a newer version.
