Hello fellow contibutors...

I hate to ask this--in a way, because I am sure it has been answered elsewhere--but I can't find a related post...

I have been crunching for SETI@Home with BOINC for quite some time now--basically since SETI Classic shut down, but the neither the account key provided for that project, nor my "cross project ID" would let me log in here. My current e-mail address, didn't work either, though all these are perfectly functional at the SETI@Home site, and the message boards there.

In order to try to be helpful, I just made a new account here for the purposes of posting.

Is there some way to merge my BOINC forum account with my SETI@Home account? Shouldn't they already have been at least SORT OF related?

If this is indeed a totally separate deal, how can I get my project info to show up in my profile here?

Thanks,

___Tklop

This forum is not related to the SETI project, it's a shared forum between all the Boinc projects (i.e., Seti + CPDN + Rosetta + LHC + ... etc etc). Since it doesn't share the SETI account information, you have to register here.

Addendum: BOINC isn't a project to crunch either. These hallowed grounds are merely a place to post specific BOINC problems on. For most project specific questions we point to the forums of said projects.
