I often see that a task is about 10% done for example. It may have 20 hours left, but the "deadline" is far sooner than that. I even see the system computing the task after the deadline. Is my system just wasting time crunching numbers for a task that will be deleted? Should I just let it go?

I am on 7.8.3 (x86)
