Hello, I'm using BOINC 7.8.6 on High Sierra and it worked until today. Now it's not connecting to the localhost anymore. Apparently this is after I applied the latest Apple supplemental update for macOS 10.13.3. stdoutgui.txt: empty stderrgui.txt: 2018-03-07 17:17:42.244 BOINCManager[6591:365822] IMKClient Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario attaching a spindump (or sysdiagnose) that captures the problem - (imkxpc_attributesForCharacterIndex:reply:) block performed very slowly (7.28 secs). 2018-03-07 17:17:42.244 BOINCManager[6591:365822] IMKClient Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario attaching a spindump (or sysdiagnose) that captures the problem - (imkxpc_windowLevelWithReply:) block performed very slowly (5.27 secs). I already uninstalled/reinstalled. Whatever setting I apply to the firewall doesn't fix the issue (it doesn't even start to communicate outside as far as I can see). What else can I check? Thank you. |

SOLVED - open Activity Monitor - force-quit the process "boinc" assigned to the user "boinc_master" - restart the BOINC Manager I'll check again tomorrow if it works after a full Mac shutdown and restart. |
