Until today I was running BOINC and had long since passed (was it) silver? Today I went to add my new computer to the project with a view to moving all BOINC to the new laptop. I selected 'something' believing that I was introducing the new laptop to my setup - and then everything got deleted!! The running task was deleted (or moved to infinity) and I can not log into BOINC anyway on the new laptop because I don't know my log in details. I post this because the login data is remembered on this laptop although invisible otherwise.

I don't know what I did wrong so I can't correct it. I looked at my 'total' (which I knew was quite high for me) but it shows no computer yet allocated!!!!!!!!!

If the situation can be rescued, that is fine. If not, I shan't lose any sleep over it; it will just be wasted processing time.

I'm running the latest BOINC version and the WCG. I have logged time on SETI@home previously but now devote the cycles to cancer projects....

regards

Since you got here with another computer, it should be possible to have that computer display the password it used. How depends on what browser you are using and the O/S. Google is your friend. That should get you into the projects, assuming the same password or it has all of them stored.

Your reply gave me an idea: I changed the password to a new one so I can now log in with the new password - but it still shows me as having not done any work at all! I don't know what has gone wrong.
