Greetings to all,
I am seeking a fix to an issue I'm experiencing.
Scenario - I boot my computer and log into it. In my startup, BOINC does load up (3 projects enrolled). It is visually (icon in sys tray) seen to be in a paused state due to activity on the computer.
Without fail, I am called away to do something for the DW. Upon return, screens have gone to sleep (inactive longer than 15 min) jostle the mouse and system awake from a reboot/warm boot?? If I had anything I was working on, on the screen, it is now gone. If any software was running, it is closed now.
Comp power saving features as follows,
Screen turns off after 15 min inactivity
Computer never goes to sleep
In testing, exit BOINC after startup and the problem is not encountered.
If BOINC is allowed to 'turn on' (set to 3 min inactivity) and the computer is re-engaged before the 15min display time, all is still functional and normal.
If BOINC runs and screens sleep, then upon activity, computer awakes from a 'warm boot'.
The work graph does show that data/work is being performed in those time. Yet unable to handle the 'handoff' to resume use of the computers.
BONIC ver 7.6.33 (x64) wxWidgests Ver 3.0.1

I am unsure which of the many log files would be most useful to submit/attach in helping determine the issue at hand. Please advise on this.

I look forward to any replies

What I would rather see is the log part at the moment it resets your computer. You should be able to lift that from the stdoutdae.txt file in the data directory.
