Are the SETI project scientists aware of the ongoing problem with getting work ......???? Has anybody ever contacted them officially about the issue that has been ongoing since last year of the scheduler not sending work when there is plenty. This problem has been discussed ad nauseum on the Panic Mode thread for at least six months but we have not received any communication that they are aware of the problem or have acknowledged it. This all started with the messed up attempt to fix the ATI 8.23 GPU app release. Whatever the scientists did to try and "fix" the problem has caused anyone running Nvidia cards to to have issues getting work. We have to resort to all kinds of tricks like toggling project preferences to wake up the schedulers to begin sending work to our hosts. This is getting extremely tiresome and I have just about lost any enthusiasm for the the project which I have been attached to since 2001. If we could just get ONE message that they are aware of the problem and some kind of timeline for a fix, I might just stick around. If not, I think I will just put my hosts to work primarily for Einstein.

Likely not. They also won't see it here. You might try a PM and/or posting on Beta which Eric does read on occasion.
