Ever since the update to 10.12, If you have a hot corner set to start screen saver, Boinc starts the saver like it always did, but as soon as it starts it kicks off again. Some may run for a few minutes and then go off, others just go off right away.
It only happens with the Boinc module, all other screen savers work fine. It is as if the manager sends a wake signal or something.

Even happens when the Boinc manager is inactive, the Boinc is not running screens come up but the goes right off.

Have tried with many projects, WGC, Seti, Einstein, climateprediction,rosetta etc, all same result. Tried all different settings in screensaver options, i.e set all to 0 and combinations, still same result.

I have posted a test version of BOINC for the Mac here. Please give it a try and report here what, if any, effect it has on the screen saver under OS 10.12.

Well tried the test, full clean install, still the same as before.

When the "BOINC is not running" message disappears, do you again see the moving BOINC Logo with a message in small front below it saying something like "Starting screensaver graphics. Please wait ..." or does it go bak to the desktop?

80% of the time I see the "Boinc is not running" then right back to desktop, the rest of the time it goes to desktop right at the point that message would show.

. My Boinc sc screensaver works but SETI@home and Rosetta@home no longer run even after I use the fixes on their home pages.
