Besides Faux, it seems tRump must read http://www.pravdareport.com/science/earth/20-03-2017/114905-global_warming-0/ for its great reporting on fake global warming.

Somebody squealed on us. Trump read the politics board so issued an executive order to UCB to keep the boards down :-)

Is the electronics on planes ban part of a campaign to get the total ban on Muslim's to be acceptable?

I don't see were this ban makes any sense whatsoever. It probably makes the risk of flying higher. And anyway isn't there a ban on lithium batteries in cargo holds.

Yes if they are over a certain capacity. Was this intended to make FedEx rich by making people ship them? Or was it intended to allow governments time to clone hard drives?

Just read this;
Philip Baum, editor of Aviation Security International magazine, said: ”If we cannot, in 2017, distinguish between a laptop that contains an IED and one that does not, then our screening process is completely flawed. And encouraging people to check laptops, and other such items, into the luggage hold simply makes the challenge even harder.”

Russia, where there is smoke there is Treason.
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_TRUMP_RUSSIA_MANAFORT?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-03-22-08-48-20
President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, secretly worked for a Russian billionaire to advance the interests of Russian President Vladimir Putin a decade ago and proposed an ambitious political strategy to undermine anti-Russian opposition across former Soviet republics, The Associated Press has learned. The work appears to contradict assertions by the Trump administration and Manafort himself that he never worked for Russian interests.

Surprised it took this long. All it took was a knife & vehicle & not much can be done about it until damage is done :)

Edit: Possibly one fatality so far.

Paramedics/cops have stopped resuscitation effort on one individual Looks like body under red blanket and silver cover. Assuming they're dead.

I'm watching it now on BBC 1 ( untill the Simpsons is on @ 6 on C4 ;-) ) . Always knew it was a case of when not if another attack happpend , we have been very lucky since 7 / 7 .
The " security service " has to be 100% all the time , for the terrorists they only have to be sucsessful once .
Ain't going to speculate " who " but could of been a lot worse and just got to hope it's not a prelude for somethin much " bigger "

Edit :
3 people have died in the " incident " and one was a police officer , there's probably more but that's what they said live just now :-(

4 now including the nutjob. At least he won't be getting 3 squares a day at the taxpayers expense.

Just wondering if the ex-Home Secretary now PM is regretting her decision to cut police numbers!

No one can answer that can they , like the saying goes hindsight is a wonderful thing , i know that all to well

I think what happend today probably would of happend whatever the police numbers were , was only a matter of time till " it " happend here . But that won't stop Comrade Corbyn of Tim Fallon trying to " score points " with that question at the next P.M.Q's will it :-(

The proverbial has hit the fan in London but think this ain't half as bad as 7 / 7 was or 11 / 9 ( day , month then year )

Well, I think everyone may end up surprised at this one.

Any "real" terrorist will hit easy targets as seen over the years, to hit an area heavily patrolled by armed police...

I happen to hold a job that requires a lot of 'old school' knoweldege. Handed down from masters of their art.
There is no school to teach such things.
Nobody ever taught me how to put piece A to thing B, but for the few masters that handed it down to me,.

This is a craft. People coming up are not taught it, because the factory does not know it.
I have a young pupil that I am trying to teach, and every day he learns something he never knew before.
You have to see and feel how this is done................and perhaps screw it up once or twice before you know why not to do that...........and then realize what it just cost the team in redoing everything you just did.

That is how you learn.

These are lessons born of life. Things not in textbooks. For, how to exactly fit a piece to the truck before one puts it into place for the final placement? How to fit it up before MY last piece fits? That is something only I know, and perhaps feel.

I can perhaps, teach this young man something of my art before I leave my profession.
And there are perhaps some things that I cannot convey, and he shall have to learn at his expense.
Like the art if taking a screw into the bit holder and driving it in without destroying the piece you are holding in you hand. I am happy to have another that looks up to me with adoring eyes and asks................how did you just do that???
To which I gladly reply.........here, let me show you. Ya hold it like this,, and then you carefully do this.
And then he looks at me with awe and says I never was shown that before.
He IS, if he keeps at it, gonna be a grand master one day. And I am his teacher.

That is what my profession is about. You do not build a fire truck by a textbook. You build it from the ground up,with things you have been taught to do from day one at the factory.

We old school guy are rapidly coming of age, and are going away. Some of us are trying to teach the youngsters.
Some are not so willing to share their life's experiences. I have been more than willing to share with my young apprentice. He is a very avid and willing one. And it makes me very proud to see him doing what I have done for so many years and doing it very well. And so the toil has been passed on.

Real terrorists live to strike again and again like Ted Kaczynski. Religious converters will hit high visibility targets. Martyr by cop will hit any target at all, their suicide is the most important part of giving their own self chosen miserable life meaning as they see it.

All the crap floating about on social media regarding yesterday is laughable.

There is good & bad in every culture so that does not mean that one event gives one culture the right to disparage another.

Some home truths about yesterday.

It was not a genuine Muslim but a nutjob who had a failed life. Rather than work for a living, he turned to crime & in fact was arrested for GBH in Eastbourne Sussex when he was 39 years old. He stabbed a man in the face.

He converted to Islam & on doing so, changed his name from Adrian Elms to Khalid Masood. Even there he failed, couldn't even become a decent Muslim. I'm not going to post the links to prove the above as too many times that those who peruse social media, fail to use the CPU between their ears, however, In the words of "Mulder"

The truth is out there.

Why would that be a surprise to me ?? do see the same news and probably even the SAME local news program " Look East " ;-) hehe . now certain " other" countrys " who are reporting that " London is in Lockdown" that might be a surprise . Knew it would be " homegrown " rather than a "immigrant" but what's the betting the legal imigrants in this country will take most of the " fallout" for what happend yesterday .
Had a " numpty" in Ipswich refusing to leave Crown Pools swimming pool in the center of town . If i was in charge i would of had the firearms squad there and kneecap the pri#k for his actions .
Don't give a shite iif you don't agree but do that the daqy after what do you expect . He was a 50 year old , probably a alchey or smach head and should get 10 + hrs of comunity service !!! Bet the " bleedin heart lefty liberals " around here will let him off and pay for treatment :-( ( wa#kers !! )

Here's a link to the story and he's BEEN CHARGED in shock reading that , surprised wern't just a caution !!

Not on "Look East". Got the report from the local rag shortly after the raids in Birmingham. It only worked its way to the national media about 20 minutes ago :-)

Last photo of PC Keith Palmer as birth name of the nutjob is revealed

Thanks very much BBC!

The paragraph in the link above where he was named has been removed. There was also a mention on another report where it was stated that the police requested his name to be withheld until inquiries were completed.

Should have passed that to all police forces Scotland Yard!

His name was published on the Birmingham Mail's website not long after the raids there were done.

As it is, Scotland Yard has released it & it seems Adrian Elms was just an alias. Just in case that disappears...

Report

..."The attacker, Khalid Masood, used a number of aliases and was known to police. Mr Rowley said his birth name was Adrian Russell Ajao."

In my view the paramedics spent to much time " working" on him , they could of spent it on the " inocents" and that Police Officer who tried ot tackle him when many people would of run screaming and sh#ting themselfs .
Sorry know my view is very harsh but there you go , terrorists are the same as drink drivers and any sex offender to me ALL better off dead !!!
