Message 74779 - Posted: 15 Dec 2016, 14:25:54 UTC

I have updated to 7.6.33 and installed VirtualBox.
BOINC does not download a project from ATLAS@home. Checking that I found out, that my W10 home edition on a 64bit INTEL CPU believes that VirtualBox is a not compatible Software.

Anybody can help me?

Tks
Wolf

Although the BOINC installer includes the VirtualBox program, we're not the makers of VirtualBox. Any problems with it are best searched for and/or asked on the VirtualBox forums. I did do a search there, but it probably is easier to find information with the exact error message.

This does look to be a Windows 10 problem though, it being overzealous at security.

There's a checklist for people who have problems with Atlas. You may need to update VirtualBox to latest version. I think after some Windows update 5.0 doesn't work any more.
