I would like to be able to read notices once and then delete them so they do not reappear or simply hang on for weeks though their content is obsolete or outdated.

Can someone as who ever codes the Boinc software to configure the notices are with a simple set of check boxes that allow one to read and then delete the notices. You could keep that file locally if its to troublesome at the origination. I am tired of checking notices only to find they are out of date already read or superseded by a follow on notice. It also generates a "we don't care bout users" feeling that should be dispelled.

Thanks

News notices will be deleted after 30 days. All others will be removed once the problems they mention are solved.
You can go to the Options->Other options..., to set Notices reminder interval to Never.
