While BOINC is running, and the screen saver pops up, I get weird screens on my other monitors. The main monitor is fine. My setup is: Windows 10 2 GTX970 in SLI (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, and analog DVI monitors/tvs so basically 4 ports on one card) My resolutions are 2560x1440 on the Display Port (my main monitor) The HDMI and DVI digital are 1920x1080 and the analog DVI is 1024x768. If other information is needed please don't hesitate to ask. Basically I get weird boxes and shapes on the other monitors, my main displays the work that BOINC is doing. |

Have you done a "clean install" for that Windows 10 or is it a plain upgrade? Clean install can sometimes fix weird things and bring stability. Have you used Display Driver Uninstaller prior to installing Nvidia drivers? That can sometimes do some good too. Which Nvidia driver version do you have there? |

Most screen saver applications done by the projects are OpenGL 1.0, which cannot do multiple monitors. To be able to use those, OpenGL 2.0 compliancy is required. So it's not a problem with your OS or your drivers, but with OpenGL's incapability to show on multiple monitors. No, the projects won't release newer graphical applications, as it's quite costly to make these and since OpenGL 1.0 applications can be run on any newer hardware, it's not really needed either. |
