I have a new HP laptop using Windows 10 64 bit. I installed version 7.6.22 and received the following error : The BOINC client has exited unexpectedly 3 times within the last 3 minutes. I removed it and reinstalled it 3 other times but it still failed. I then tried 2 earlier versions but get the same problem. I made sure my firewall (Webroot) was allowing boinc.exe & boincmgr.exe to access the web. I used BOINC with no problems on another laptop with Win10.
I tried installing 32 bit version 7.6.22 and it installed and permitted me to get to the project request, but it appears to fail and tells me to use the 64 bit version.
Does anyone know what is wrong?

The only thing I momentarily know is that this has been discussed before, so do a deep [advanced] search of these forums.

What is in the stdoutdae.txt and stderrdae.txt files?

Are you user level installing or as service? (Advanced options during first install and upgrade)

'Removed' is suspicious... the proper uninstall way? If so, also manually delete the C:\program data\BOINC directory, or same in the user folders.
