Hi,

i upgraded my processor, but BOINC doesn't update the config files, it still shows the old one.
I updated every project by hand, rerun cpu benchmarks, but in the client_state(prev).xml is still the old one.

p_ncpus 1 p_ncpus
p_vendor AuthenticAMD p_vendor
p_model AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ p_model

When i start BOINC, it detects the new processor, but it doesn't update the config files. :-/

./boinc -return_results_immediately

Ok, i found a quick and dirty solution :-)

Just run the old boinc 4.43 once, it detects everything fine and updates the files, then contiue the work with 4.72 ;-)
