Hi, I'm having trouble locating my BOINC data directory. I need to find out what the data directory is so that I can exclude it from future Time Machine backups. I'm running BOINC 7.6.12 and my OS is OSX 10.9.5. I've looked through many different posts and BOINC's FAQ, and everything that I've read says that the data directory for BOINC for a mac user is ~/Library/Application Support/BOINC Data. However, I don't have any directory listed as ~/Library/Application Support/BOINC Data. All I have is ~/Library/Application Support/BOINC, which just contains the BOINC manager and two text files, and it does not appear to contain the data files for the work units. BOINC says the data stored on my computer is 249 MB, yet ~/Library/Application Support/BOINC Data is only 12 KB. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Check the Boinc startup in the Event Log, it should tell you exactly where the Boinc Data directory is,
On Windows it's a hidden directory, expect it's the same on a Mac.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I'm still having trouble with this issue. The event log says that the files are in ~/Library/Application Support/BOINC Data, but that directory is still not showing up. Thoughts?

Thanks so much! I was looking in the user library instead of in the system library!
