Anyone have any experience with setting up a nice clean python interface for a boinc server? I'm trying to set one up by hand on a clean Amazon/EC2 64-bit Debian Jessie install.

Tried following docs but the pyBoinc and pyMW stuff is really out of date. I've installed all packages and dependencies, set up permissions, have the website up and server running, etc...

At the moment the system is successfully creating jobs but clients connecting are not being allocated work. ("Error: maximum number of jobs for this computer has been reached," when trying the `monte_pi` example, even though this is a clean install with no other projects/jobs).

Any ideas? Perhaps there are better python interfaces out there?

It seems that either we don't have all that many project administrators reading this forum or none of them use Python.

You could try boinc_projects mailing list.
