My setup runs along fine for awhile then "computational errors" start showing up. I'm running the latest, boinc_7.4.42_windows_x86_64, on Windows 7 64bit using 2 Nvidia GPUs. I can restart and things will run fine for awhile then it starts over again.

Any suggestions regarding the problem?

Can you look for those work units where an error occured and then look for task details? There might be more information about the error.

In the end of the "Stderr output" data... there are some [ERROR] lines. What do they say?

---------------------
Have you overclocked your computer or GPU's? Have you monitored temperatures (GPU and CPU) while they are running?

Which version of Nvidia drivers have you installed? I was using 350.12 but was getting some compute errors last couple days. That driver version also crashed a few times already, while I was performing just some basic desktop usage. I went back to 347.88 yesterday. So far, no new errors.

With tons of messages like the last one for different tasks.

GPU's not overclocked.
Nvidia drivers the latest (350.12-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql_2) I was thinking of going back.

What Richie meant was, go to your account at Seti, click on the taskID of any of the tasks that err and post the stderr.txt information that's shown there.
Alternatively, if you want help through here, post a link to your hostID.

Do know that BOINC is the managing program, it does no calculations and thus cannot make calculation errors. That's all down to the project's science application(s), and therefore it's always best to post questions for help on the project's forums.

"Exited with zero status but no finished file" is usually caused by overzealous antivirus and other anti-malware programs running at the same time BOINC does. Easily solved by excluding the BOINC data directory from being scanned by these programs. You can do that in your AV/AM program.

Ageless,
Thanks for the clarification. I've recently added an AV/AM program, that could well be the problem. I'll post further in SETI@home if the problem continues.
