Using latest version of BOINC with Virtualbox on Windows 7 Ultimate patched up to the wazoo, on a 6 core AMD Athlon processor, with Kaspersky Internet Security 2015

Tssks download, start running. In Oracle VM VirtualBox see the VMs appear and then disappear. When I look in the logs I see a lot of:
05:52:41.086007 NAT: DNS#0: 8.8.8.8
05:52:41.086034 NAT: DNS#1: 8.8.4.4
05:52:41.086044 NAT: DHCP offered IP address 10.0.2.15
05:52:41.086438 NAT: DHCP offered IP address 10.0.2.15

followed by:
05:54:41.748315 Entering S5 power state (power down)

The tasks then stop in BOINC Manager with the status of "Compute Error"

Anyone got any ideas as to why?

Thanks

You best ask at the project that's using their application(s) in the virtual machine.

If you still feel you want help here, you better come up with a lot more information. For hints, see https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=8600.
